How many hours a day are you spending on your mobile phone? 4–5–6 hours? — That is pretty much the norm now.
Horrific. I clocked 8 hours on my phone last Thursday. That’s enough to get a handle on Bayes’ theorem or rehash my french verbs from school.
It adds up and for what? To know what's going on in the World or how much my energy bills are being subsidised. Is this worth checking over and over again all day? — No it isn’t.
The fact is we spend far too much time on our phones and it’s only getting worse. It’s the first thing we reach for when we wake up and the last thing we turn off before we sleep.
It interferes with progress, it sucks your time and gives you nothing back except bad eyes.
It’s time to drop the habit.
