Building Momentum

There’s a book out there, I forget its name but its thesis is based on huge improvement over time by small consistent acts.

For instance, if you want to get good at doing press-ups and make them a habit then you can do one today and one tomorrow then in a week do two a day.

Big spurts of energy are all good and well but they often leave us feeling tired, burned out and despondent.

Starting again gets harder and harder.

Why not next time start really small? One line of code. One article about the blockchain or one 50–word article on Medium.

Heck, even going for a two-minute jog will lay the groundwork for an ultramarathon.

As the year is drawing to a close and new beginnings are in view, let’s think about starting something epic.

What could you be this time next year?
