The One Glaringly Obvious Feature Apple Watch Doesn’t Have

Don’t get me wrong; I love my watch, but it could be better

If you’re a creative or in the content game, you often get random ideas in the middle of nowhere right?

I do and I often get good ones.

Common Scenario

You’re walking down the street and listening to a podcast through your apple watch. You’ve got your earbuds in and your phone is at home; you feel light and well-resourced. All you need is your watch and your keys and you can go anywhere and do anything.

Wrong

Whilst walking, the best idea you’ve ever had hits you hard. It instantly connects and you have to start writing shit down right now. You go to your pocket, no notebook. You reach for your phone, it’s at home.

You say, “Siri, take a note.”

She says, “Sorry Dave, I can’t do that.”

“Fuck you, Siri.”

You can now only do two things. Run to a coffee shop and beg for a pen and paper.

Or, the only other thing that kind of works is to send yourself an SMS and dictate the message on your watch.
